Pam Buffery was born in the UK and after travelling around a fair bit she settled in New Zealand. The fantastic vistas, big skies and the amazing quality of light were the major source of inspiration that started Pam painting. Some of the results of her continuing love affair with the New Zealand landscape can be seen via the Gallery page.

Pam generally works in either acrylics or oils. At the moment though she is really in love with oils, which she is experimenting with to portray the light, texture and landscapes that are in her new back yard!

Pam is a member of the Sumner Art Society and the NZ Art Guild.
